Description
Associate Membership may be granted, upon approval by the officers, to those individuals who do not meet the requirements of full membership but who possess one of the following qualifications, upon approval of the FAO officers, after application for membership: graduates of accredited schools of dentistry or podiatry; doctors of philosophy or education and other nondoctoral personnel holding teaching, research and administrative positions in AOA COCA, or LCME accredited colleges; administrative employees of affiliated organizations and divisional societies; or any other professionals as determined by the Officers of the FAO. Associate Members shall pay dues equal to the dues of Physician Members. Associate Members may attend an educational meeting of the FAO upon prior approval of the FAO and/or the applicable course director, which may include a course prerequisite and verification of credentials.
Documentation Required: completed membership application; letter to FAO specifying credentials (DMD, PhD, etc); copy of professional license, CV.
